Wayne Melia 5,976 Posted July 4, 2008 Don't know what "neo" means, so feel to object/disregard/etc. my comment on that basis , but like the drama of the contrast. A excellent example of what somebody (Ansel?) called "perevisualization" or sumpin. I call it knowing what they're doing. (ie: good photographer). Echo of the highlights in the clouds by the sails (emphasized by the dark background behind the sails) may come from understanding light? Oh yeah, and the hilights in the clouds lead the eye to those sails in the composition. That's a lesson in composition, right? And it goes on.... Thanks for sharing. Examples like this is how we learn. And congrats. Link to comment
tholte 16,570 Posted July 4, 2008 Wayne, thanks for the nice comment but I have to give the credit to the weather front that moved in, it was very surreal to say the least. Link to comment
