rascal64 9 Posted July 7, 2008 Thank you Pierre.. Shenandoah.. Nezif and Paul. I truly appreciate your comments time and ratings. Paul...I did a version of this awhile ago (not posted) as a present for my daughter. This was her at Halloween. If I was still a kid...I would have loved it if my mama could make my fantasy life real. I didn't want to blatantly rip off somebody else's dragon and because I am not good enough at PS to create my own ...I decided to keep it slightly hidden and shadowed. Out of artistic respect and my own laziness...this is the result. Link to comment
jkilgo 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Tiffany, you are getting good at this PS stuff...I really like this creation. I can sense that there are many stories in your head waiting to be told...I can't wait to see more. Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted July 12, 2008 TIffany, this is remarkable. The emotional content is overwhelming. Your lighting through the gate is excellent. My favorite detail is the expression! Perfectly captured! Thanks for sharing your work! It does inspire me! Regards, Doug. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted July 14, 2008 Doug...yikes! I don't know if I can take credit for anything here. The gate?....not mine. Her expression?...just what she does. I feel like a Hollywood producer who simply puts all the stuff together in the correct order and gets all the accolade. Thank you for your visit Doug...the door is always open! Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Hey Tiff....That's what an artist does....Brings it all together...otherwise.....sometimes it's just pieces..... ;-) Link to comment

rascal64 9 Posted July 23, 2008 Thank you Biliana. That is my daughter Avalon in last years Halloween costume. This year she wants to go as "Elvis". Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted October 27, 2008 That's quite an elaborate costume. You really go all-out, don't you! The blending is very convincing but the dragon looks like he's in an outdoor garden. Perhaps a more traditional approach of a torch lit stone background (where the dragon is) will better suit the mood. I met Elvis. He lives in Las Vegas. :-) Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted October 28, 2008 You are so right about the dragon Michael...but free stock dragon shots are hard to come by. I picked this one so that I could distort him (so I am not ripping anyone off) and provide enough light behind him to make him readable. The way this piece came together was like most of my art...no plan...it just grows on its own and I try to stay out of the way. Link to comment
sickboy666 0 Posted April 17, 2009 Oh, I really like this one....The look of the little boy is amazing. Astonishing composition, great tones, and I really love the way anyone can see various symbols in this picture, depending on their conception of youth. Serving the Lord, childish nightmares, children sent to war, innocence versus Evil, and so on... Your world is really hypnotizing, your work is brilliant, at least. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted April 20, 2009 Thank you Daniel. Thank you Christophe. This is actually my daughter. She never was much into the princess persona...good thing. I don't think she needs any rescuing (>8. She is my knight, my zombie, my butterfly, my hunter, my angel and my favorite stand in. She helps my camera see an extra dimension. Link to comment
