Michel, I think the other image maybe has more drama and possible captures the reality of the scene more as it was a very cloudy morning the mist had engulfed me on the summit and I suspected it was going to rain, as I made my way down to my surprise there was a break in the cloud and the early morning rays of sun shone through.

here, you lose most of the luminosity on the ridge, and the near bit looks too greyed out.
