Your choice of angle not beeing the most obvious one is giving a great more dimension thanks to your as sharo as ever composition.

Linda and Donna, assocoation of a photograph is very subjective, and depends on many factors. For me the pose reminded a cross, and my personal association was the women condition in many of our societies. Her gaze looked a bit forlorn to me, the sharp spikes enhanced my association.But it is mine and thats why the title was with the word "beyond", as each of the viewer which will take the time, will interpret it differently.
