Guest Guest Posted June 30, 2008 Great photo there. I like the composition very much, and that you have included the big rock. The dead trees make much of the photo I think. But I would try to desaturate some to get an even more mysterious mood. I have just tested some and think that around 40% of original color saturation works well. Maybe more too. But that is just my thoughts. I am kind of into desaturated photos for the time. Link to comment
aeg 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Thanks Mary and Daniel. Daniel I appreciate your comments and critique,but, I am a fan of color and tend to push the limits of saturation. I agree that your rendition of my image is somewhat more foreboding but by adding the light and color outside I give the viewer a safe place to stand and contemplate what lies within.
