Vermont Fairgrounds

Testing my new scanner and uploading some older work. I shot this while learning photography. Someone told me I had to shoot slides to understand exposure. I'm glad I did. When I shoot now - I often don't even need a meter in certain situations.

Shot in the early 1990's when I was learning. I was told to use tons

of slide film to help me understand proper exposure. Manual camera,

manual focus, in camera meter.

My critique here would be the blocked up shadows but it was a very

sunny day as you can see from this. I probably could lighten it up a

bit in photoshop

I did end up selling this a few years later for a brochure about

Vermont activities and it was sold to a 4-color Vermont magazine.

Fabulous image - very well captured! If it is not too confidential, how much were you paid for this. I just got a request for one of my images (brochure and web page) and I don't have any idea what to charge.
