davidmccracken 2 Posted June 30, 2008 Many of your images are strange. (Well! Strange to me!) This is a little strange too. It's good to be strange. It helps with creativity. Link to comment
bugetti 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Not strange, but creative: the clock dominates man ... except us ... Link to comment
gungajim 75 Posted June 30, 2008 Looks like a high fashion turban. Submit this to an Italian fashion designer and there will be thousands of them on street within a year! I think I see an uncharacteristic smile on your face also. Cheers, GJ Link to comment
gungajim 75 Posted June 30, 2008 And yes, this is the evolution of Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Yahweh, and the Hindu pantheon into a single essence. Time is on your side. Link to comment

maggies 0 Posted June 30, 2008 This man mocks the passage of time. He is pleased with his life. As usual, unique and brilliant.M Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted June 30, 2008 Marjorie, while you write that this is brilliant some guys rushed to find it on rate recent to smash it anonymously! It was with an average of six, one pair of fours placed it down where it is now. I expect some more guys, or the same one with another ID to kill it all the way! PDE Link to comment
llgarcia 1 Posted June 30, 2008 An outstanding image that can only be done by one who has a very creative mind. An excellent piece of photographic art. Regards - Lester Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted July 1, 2008 does man dominates time or is it the other way round? Thought provoking, Pierre and, as, usual, very original. Link to comment

karlwim 0 Posted July 1, 2008 Pierre Your work is brilliant. I like these pictures where you make me think about the meaning behind your picture. Whilst browsing your pictures (which are extremely creative) I wonder what went through your mind when you created it and how you come about your theme. I also like it when you put a tip as to your meaning behind the picture in the name. The shadow over the eyes bothers me a bit, but still an amazing picture. The watch on top and the artwork in the headband / crown makes this picture special (and of course what I regard as the theme - although I might be way off with what you thought!) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted July 1, 2008 Karlwim, all is as simple as can be. The shadow is a natural consequence of the light and the object, the light comes from above! The whole thing, the face and the turban and the watch represent the king, the king called time, the king above all kings because the time is ever lasting and all the other kings are mortal. The king Time beats them all in all times! It's the story of this side of the existence, the material and physical! It's life itself, life and death. On the other side is eternity, timeless, lifeless, bodiless, immaterial. You might say: It's death on the other side! No, no sir! Death is on this side, the other side is after death! And before life! When we are born we enter the kingdom of time and here it is on the picture The King Time! It's ever lasting from the point of view of the mortals and matter, otherwise, compared to eternity it's a piece of sand in the endless desert! PDE Link to comment
John Peri 1,033 Posted July 1, 2008 The vortex of time .. quite extraordinary Pierre, bravo, an amzing piece ... ..reminds me of a song by J.J.Cale that we used to sing in student days .. "I have cocaine .. running around in my brain" ... I remember we went to a concert in London in which he and Eric Clapton were playing. However extraordinary it may sound today, in those days, people were allowed to smoke in cinemas and theatres. I didn't smoke, but I remember coming out of that theatre so stoned that I could barely walk ! Link to comment
