John Peri 1,029 Posted June 29, 2008 Very nice Jim. Outside work is relatively new for you, no? At any rate, it is a very interesting step that you are taking here. The narrow depth of field is effective also. The subtle range of pastel-like colours certainly suite the image too. There is an overall grace to the image that I find very appealing. Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted June 29, 2008 I don't do much outside work because I can not control the weather, the temperature, or the light as much as I want to, but I have done some other work outside (see http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=737948 and http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=735717 ). I also admit that I have trouble getting up early enough to catch the good light. One of the intents of this shoot was to get some drama in the images using natural lighting/shadowing. This image is a moderately successful attempt at this, note the slight shadowing on her face. Jim Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted June 30, 2008 Sure Jim, but it's the ambience especially which counts, for me at any rate .. love the mood here and in the other one by the tree .. I'm off soon, no more postings for a while .. have a wonderful summer, John Link to comment
adam marksteiner 0 Posted July 1, 2008 Glad to see that there are some great shots from this set. The first few I saw were just ok. You have a great setting and a beautiful model and now it looks like you also ended up with some great shots from the shoot. Congrats. Link to comment
