wmhoodphoto 0 Posted August 2, 2008 Kristina and Doug. Thanks for your kind words. This is a composite image created from 7 individual photos. Clockwise from the top left and shot with a telescope is the Pleiades, Comet Hyakutake, Moon, Andromeda Galaxy and barely visible below the Moon, above the mountain ridge is the Pinwheel Galaxy. With the exception of the Moon and comet, the other objects are placed about where they reside in the star field exposure. The mountains were shot in the afternoon and the lake and "city" lights were digitally created...adding more meaning to my title word, "Phantasy". Link to comment
