karlwim 0 Posted June 29, 2008 Victor I like the softness in this picture. But I think the tree being right in the middle bothers me a bit - It sort of commands all attention and it is not close enough to see the detail in it. But still a pleasing photo - I like the rock with the green moss. Link to comment

vicky_white 0 Posted August 13, 2008 I love how this picture captures all the blue in the sky. From the blue green in the water, to the bright blue in the horizon. It really captures many different things but does not take away from the tree's detail. The roots over the rocks and the sprawling branches. Very nice! Link to comment
victorwei 0 Posted August 14, 2008 ...for your kind comments. This place is quite a beautiful place to photograph - I was fortunate to have my wide angle zoom lens with me to take this shot. Link to comment
maijaathena 6 Posted August 20, 2008 What a beautiful picture, Victor. The shape of this tree reminds me of a Bonsai. Great capture! -Maija Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted August 28, 2008 The tree looks spo much like a bonsai. Its centre placement doesn't bother me as it is the main Centrepiece in the picture. Link to comment
victorwei 0 Posted August 28, 2008 I really appreciate your kind comments, Maija and Cheryln. I'm not sure what kind of tree this is but I do know it's a great subject to be photographed. Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted September 14, 2008 Although the tree is centred in the compostion, it doesn't both me too much as it is so obviously the centre of attention and is commanding the whole scene. It's nice too how the clouds seem to grow and radiate from the tree too. Link to comment
