Mountain Prelude

Another in a series of compositions in NH's White Mnts. Suggestions

and comments welcome.

Crop from the upper edge to the sound clouds in order to avoid that intervention on the sky! About one third or a bit more! The landscape is with a beautiful subdued colors elements, darker than usually and the sky although is with a more vivid and unnatural color fits well, but that turbulence artificially added spoils it all!

Pierre - I understand your crop comment, but the thing is the colors and turbulance are completely natural. If anything the color is a little more subdued than it actully was, less contrast with upload. The lenticular clouds are spectacular to see, especially at sunrise or sunset. I thought about cropping out part of the sky, but it looked a little to 5/50 to me with the ground. A stronger image might be the left portion of the image - 1 of 2 images stitched to create this. Thanks for the ideas and your perspective-much appreciated.

For God's sakes, man; don't touch this - Not one jot! This is one superb photograph, and I'd not change a thing. Simply magnificent, my friend. I was up in your neck-o-the-woods (well, MA and VT) from 6/26-6/30; it rained, rained, and rained some more. I got a few little gems, and look forward to a more thorough visit real soon.
