Guest Guest Posted June 26, 2008 Too much softening, skin texture is lost and so is the mood that was right in the first place. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted June 26, 2008 She is a very attractive woman. I'm not a recognized portrait expert, but I completely disagree with the foregoing comment. If anything, I would soften a bit more. I'd also lessen the dark areas under both eyes and even out her skin tones (especially around her mouth and left chin). Other than these things, I really like this portrait. Her eyes really pop, along with her lips, and this is very appealing. Well done, Yinka! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 279 Posted June 26, 2008 Why original? It shows what a portrait is to show. I see a beautiful woman, ambitious and determined, one who knows what she wants, successful and realistic although non conformist. Why nice? First of all the model is beautiful, well exposed, well cut and hair very nicely blown with a fen! Or whatever! Well lit anyway! PDE Link to comment
