Happiness (panning)

I love the composition, the story, and the tones. Just a happy picture - perfect title, and it makes you wonder what the subject of the happiness is (being a parent, I assume with all ego exposed that that's his mama right there!) - the one thing that distracts me is how blurred the side of his head is, that's not consistant with DOF and I wonder what happened there.

the side of the head is confused because the photo has been made with the baby that races, it is a panning and the hair they stirred. hi and thanks

I didn't catch that you were panning for the shot! In that case it is even more impressive, I thought that was water blurred by dof in the background.

There's lots of movement in the picture as though he is standing still and thrilled by all the movement around him. I think it's nice but a colour photo would be more interesting. He looks like a happy little boy
