Nice composition and range of gray scale. Either some people just don't "get" the gray-scale concept, or they don't use calibration software on their monitors, but this one looks just right. Cheers, -Clayton

your mise-en-scène works even with a barn that has clearly seen better day's and a model which would ordinarily not belong. This could easily be another of the often seen artificial arrangements where beautiful people are photographed against decrepit buildings or underground garages and so on...

Both barn and model are out of place here as in the old newspaper puzzles where you looked into a grid with disparate elements and were challenged to identify what didn't belong!

But here the idea works very well and with no artifice or incongruity. The scene is legitimate in part because Pat photographs really well and could easily belong with the barn...;-)... Something wistful about him, a certain mood 'something' is expressed in the way he appears in your photographs - you fortunate to have a good and willing friend to collaborate in your artistic reveries.

There is excessive vertical space to my taste - the composition may benefit from a square crop (from the bottom). Or maybe not. If it was to be shown LARGE on a gallery wall be fine just as is.

Thanks for the advice CH, I am going to try the square crop I think you may be right about it making the composition a bit stronger. Also, not that it matters to the asethitics of the image but the building is actually an abandoned factory that sit along the railroad, it does however make a differance in the meaning of the image if you are interested. Thanks again for useful advice, it is hard to come by that on here, I usually just get advice that translates into "I would like this more if it were a completly differant picture".
