I have no problem with a poor rating, but I so wish the person who rated this 3/3 would at least let me know what they disliked about this picture, as helpful feedback! Not good form.

3/3 on mine also with no comment. This is a great photo. I love the DOF and can all most feel, as if I'm right there. I can smell the salty air, Walt

Lovely composition and dof.

Nicely saturated, well composed shot. I like it.

 

But all that said, calling the folder "San Fran" is a tourist thing. It's "San Francisco." The natives will think much better of you without the San Fran and will honor you as a fine guest. Regards from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Point well taken, and no disrespect intended. With a humble apology to the natives, I will rename the folder to the glory that this fine city deserves. I also owe the natives a lot to pointing me in right directions when I visited your beautiful city. Thanks for the gentle pointer!

This is a nice and well composed photo. But I do find the people walking on the beach/cliffs a bit disturbing.

Apart from that I like it.

I hadn't noted the walking people until I read Rasmus' comment. Now that I've seen them I do find it disturbing and can't keep my eyes from them! Anyway this is a great shot, I like the composition with a very large part of the image reserved to foreground. It makes the scenery way more dramatic and wild. Best regards, Axel G.

Thanks to all for your input. Rasmus and Axel - I retained the people to give a sense of scale to the rather large rocks on the beach.

Excellent shot of the GGB. Only thing I find slightly distracting are the people walking on the shore.
