More about this "caretaker" later. :-) Anyway - I couldn't decide if this should be B&W or color. I'll attach the color image below. Any thoughts you have would be greatly appreciated! :-)

I would go for the black and white but I think it could be better the conversion is a bit flat. I will look back later when I'm home and post an example which I will convert from your colour. But have no doubt the BW works best here. Regards Carl

Thanks, Carl - I'd love to see your version. I was using a 16-bit RAW file, and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the greens and yellows ... I'd love to see your attempt!

I'm thinking partially desaturated might work to give it a hand-colored quality. Or do computer coloring on selected areas.

Good work with b&w but when i notice that color version i must say WOW!

I really like it. Texture is better and colors are beautiful, not too clear and pure. That window near the door looks very good.

Picture looks old and very good.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Hi Lou Ann, when I first say the B&W I thought, cool, classic good photo! HOWEVER, the color actually pops more for me! Go figure! Great photo either way. IF I had to pick, color! Regards, Doug.
