catherinevankempen 0 Posted June 22, 2008 Ooooh, Love this. Could you share with me how you created this. I am new to digital alterations and if this is a straight shot then you are my new god. I love the colors, I love how the band across the top gets pulled into the spiral, same for the light part on the bottom right corner. Very very neat. Cheers, Catherine The only reason no 7 or originality is because like I said I am new to alterations and maybe everyone and their brother is doing this and I just don't know about it. :) Link to comment
joan_s. 0 Posted June 22, 2008 Thanks! glad you like it. It is actually quite simple, but I've always like monochromes and minimalist art so I stand by it ;) The picture was of a simple river bank. I like the colours of the river, but when I put it on the computer it wasn't sharp enough to be interesting on it's own, so I decided to alter it. I just got the colours I wanted with the "colour balance" feature on photoshop, used several filters (I think the rippled glass, one of the painting ones...) and then the "twirl" in distort. You can twirl any section of the picture you want, but for this one I kept it whole... photoshop is a lot of fun. Link to comment
