The sort of pose Audubon might have arranged. Great detailed capture, of course, but also a strong composition, with a dynamic balance created by the angles of the perch, legs, body, neck, and bill. A wonderfully craggy perch for this bird.

Very nice lighting and detail. I do see a couple of lens spots that could be cloned out, as well as that little piece of stick on the bottom right, but that's being really picky.

I like the "pose", and I like the fact, that the bec is parallel to its shadow. Nice light too. Good one. Regards.
