Like the marble of color in this shot. Your position allows the eye to flow up to the sun lit peak. Very good eye my friend. Michael

I like how you've captured the sunlight. Having the cool shadow over most of the scene gives the chance for eye to really drink in the brilliance of what the sun does.

Just beautiful. There seems to be a bright band along where the ground meets the sky, is this from photoshop? just curious, doesnt distract from the shot.

Its a photomatix halo, I should really reprocess this as I'm a bit better at controling them now, actually this is quite an old image that I liked but had dismised due to the poor lighting due to the shape of the surounding hills it never gets much morining or evening light so I suppose I could not get much better.

Not sure the halo is photomatrix. There is often such a glow around mountain ranges visible to the naked eye. Maybe it is enhanced but who cares. I love this setting.
