pnital 36 Posted June 18, 2008 This is a series of dancing/ playing with the colored balls. I upload two more versions of this part of the dance,in order to give a better understanding. Thanks for looking and your impressions Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted June 18, 2008 I like the colours, the light and the movement. The balls are a very nice complement. Compared to the attached picture, also nice, I prefer this one. Question of taste... Regards my dear. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 18, 2008 Armindo my friend, thanks a lot for your comments and support ;-)), the other two versions are added to give a better understanding to that part of the dance. Link to comment

raddatzphoto 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Looks dangerous to me.....interesting study, beautiful movement + expression. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted June 19, 2008 Of the three, I prefer this image more,Pnina. The other two images are equally god. Is she trying to pirouette ? The colourful balls enhances the beauty of the image. Link to comment
peacecheck 0 Posted June 19, 2008 Form, shapes, and power of movement all captured with classical style. Fantastic. Link to comment
morophaenixmau 0 Posted June 19, 2008 I know this kind of photo is not easy, but you made a very good work!...Ciaomau! Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted June 20, 2008 What grace and precision. I couldn't walk through this scene without tripping. Philosophically, it seems to be conveying that life is a colorful obstacle course. Nicely done, as always. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 20, 2008 Ahmet and Jeff. Jeff, it is a well worded philosophicaly assumption , but I would have defined it as colorful life that has as well obstacles. I'm a helpless optimistic....;-)) Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted June 21, 2008 Beautiful pose, lovely lighting, terrific physique, and balls like little candies. But there's tension here: she seems destined to trip up, lose her balance.... Link to comment
alberto_quintal 1 Posted June 21, 2008 WOW!!! I love this capture, Excellent, Pnina. Alberto Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted June 21, 2008 ... with no fear of falling or tripping, just the joy of movement in a world of colored possibilities. As always, Pnina, you honor the dancers you photograph. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted June 21, 2008 another beautiful, and colorful pose.as if a statue is magically moving on stage. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted June 21, 2008 first of all I don't fully understand why you've uploaded those other two images by way of explanation. I prefer to look upon the photo as it is presented, as a single image because it's a strong enough image in it's own right, as it should be. It sure is a compelling one. That's not to say that I haven't got a problem with it, in fact I do. I think you've kept her upper torso a bit too dark. While the overall softness is understandable it could benefit from a bit contrast. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted June 21, 2008 I, too, find myself wishing that her body had the same wonderful light that is coming off of the balls. I know that given the shooting situation here, that that might be unreasonable. The capture of the motion and the colorful balls is truly wonderful. Very nice. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 22, 2008 Florin, for your comments. Donna, the tension is there, and part of the dance, thats what makes it so different as a choreography. Alberto, glad you like it . Dennis, the stage was full with balls( FG) well lighted, and the dancers dim in parts, I photographed several situations of this special part. The grace , softness and significance of the dancer movement were hounting. Paula, thank for expressing your impressions. Ton, again , it is hard to please everybody. as it is a very long dance I wanted to show the viewer more of what the balls scene is conveying. it is my decision, I don't expect everybody to agree with me...;-)) the main photo is exactly what it conveyed to me ,the stage was full with lighted balls the dancer less lighted more far in the back of the stage, with dimmer light. the softness of the dancer vs. the strong color of the balls identified for me the mental situation. David, glad to see you back, Please read what I wrote to Ton.It is the mental situation of the scene that is applied here. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted June 22, 2008 So dreamlike. This might be my favorite of all your dance pictures. Link to comment
pepmir 0 Posted June 22, 2008 Beautiful image Pnina. You make a perfect use of light and movement of the dancer. The colored balls finish to complete the picture. Greetings Link to comment
