Stock-Photos 1 Posted June 18, 2008 Please comment on my bird in flight photo. No cropping was done. Canon 5D and Canon 100-400L. Sharpened and saturation raised in PS CS3. If the critter wasn't going so fast I might have had the ability to move him to the left of frame-center. Link to comment

dwoel 0 Posted June 18, 2008 These guys aren't the easiest to capture. This is really sharp and well exposed on the bird. You are so right, they are quick. Link to comment

manish_dighe 0 Posted June 23, 2009 Hi, How did you take this shot? I know its probably a while since you did this but did you hand hold the lens or did you put it on a tripod? Regards Manish Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted June 24, 2009 Manish, the bird flew right past, within 25 feet or so. No tripod. With such a rapidly moving subject, was surprised that focus was spot on. From my experience, in many other similar situations, it would not have been. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted August 9, 2010 In addition Manish, the extremely bright conditions at the beach must have made the aperture very small, deep DOF. Link to comment
