Lovely moody atmosphere captured in your image, lighting & exposure is great.Only thing I would change would be to smart erase the small branch entering at the top left. Cheers-Ross

Nice shot, but I have a couple of suggestions on how you might improve it: Clone or paint over the red flags. Crop off the bottom "swamped pavement" area. Oh, and paint or clone over that branch in the upper left. I played with the picture a little to illustrate what I'm suggesting. Hope you find it useful.

Call me kooky, but I'd take a day like this over a bright, hot, sunny day anytime. What a tranquil and relaxing scene. As for the previous suggestion, cloning out the markers and the stray branch in the upper left, I think, are good suggestions. The suggested crop on the bottom is a bit extreme in my opinion, I would like to see grass in place of those rocks, but it doesn't trouble me enough to completely crop it out.

Chuck, I like what you have done and I think it looks better. I might leave a little more foreground, but I'll have to go play with it myself. Thanks for your helpful suggestions!

 

Tim, there is something soothing about these days. We have had a very cool, rainy June up here. I agree with you about the cropping. I'll be back to work on this one later.
