Dr. Armstrong, this is a great photo...just wide enough to appropriately place the boat in the front, strong lines, punchy but not overdone colors. You really improve every time I come back to your work.

The only thing I might have done here is increase the exposure by a tird of a stop in CS3 of just the face of the boat so the numbers are visible. But that's just nitpicking.

Thanks very much and nice to hear from you, Jay! The light was tricky that morning as the sun kept peeking out from the clouds as in this version and then going away quickly. This is at exposure 0 with essentially no post processsing. I agree with you about bringing the boat numbers out and I'll have to look at that.

I am getting to know my camera a bit better!
