Very pretty, I love the surface she's on, it almost looks like she's floating on water. I know this is a minor detail, and please don't be offended but her nipple is slightly distracting to me. It is such a soft beautiful image. Pasties may have been in order here. Lovely pose, beautiful light, ... wonderful wonderful. Catherine

Catherine, of course I'm not offended, but I don't see a problem with her nipple it is part of the woman's body.... we each have a personal taste...;-))

This is lovely, soft ... the lighting, the pose, the model, and the dreamy reflective pool upon which she sits .

Ahh....count me in on keeping the nipple ! What a sweet portrait this is! Maybe a trim on the right so as to move her a little more off center...I like the look she is giving through the frame...So sharp and elegant!...love it...juan

Very sweet portrait with clarity of details, Pnina. Again noticed the stage surface and its liquidity.

Pnina, her grace and beauty is accentuated by play of light & shadow. Very good composition,exposure and tone.To me she looks like a 21st century Aphrodite or Venus.

Just a solitary figure on a stage and some careful lighting. In this age of flash and glitz, this is all that you really need. It's a feast for the eyes.

Such classic poise and beauty. The lighting is flawless. The side profile with the strong side light catches all the best angles to define her.

 

Dance being an ensemble art form I am used to your frames often having several characters. This stands out as a wonderful study of one dancer. I really like the amount of negative space you have given her. I do agree with Juan that a bit less centred image would be a minor improvement.

Gord, Glad you think it is classic, as this is what I felt, she has a special beauty,and her role in the dance is as a supporter of the " child" ( " mother" ) Her role will be seen in the next photos. it is really the single photo she is alone.As I wrote to Juan, I could not change the image, even I think it is the right thing to do. I will try later again. Thanks!
