This morning after hiking 20 miles up a poison oak infested steep

canyon, I captured this image. Ok, it was only a mile with just

moderate poison oak growth and it wasn't that steep.

Good shot, too bad he didn't smile for the camera! I guess it was worth the hike. Lucky find or you were going there to find that little guy?

Was going to find. It would be really spectacular luck to accidently find one and I interrupted his nap, so no smiles.

Owls are always interesting even on broad daylight although they are night birds! I have an old fashioned owl and I will expose it here one of these days!
