timkeller 0 Posted June 14, 2008 You capture the most remarkable faces, characters, and always in their unguarded moments. Another gem. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 266 Posted June 14, 2008 But there are no shadows at all on the model! Too efficient fill in flash, ha! PDE Link to comment
m_akin 2 Posted June 14, 2008 dear Pierre,I did not use flash here.but I have taken it in the shadow...thank you.best regards. Link to comment
karolostrivizas 2 Posted June 14, 2008 Excellent character portrait Mehmet nicely presented. The b/g, the light and the pale colors create an excellent atmosphere. IMHO, the important point in portraiture is to capture interesting and unusual physiognomies, with rare and special characteristics (maybe ugly, old etc), and under varied outdoor sometimes difficult- circumstances. I prefer this kind of portraits than the unexceptionable faces of professional models, captured in a studio, or under perfect conditions of stillness, make-up and lighting, that you can see many, everywhere. Of course, I repeat, this is just my personal taste. For all the above reasons I like your portraits. Congrats. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted June 15, 2008 Not only have you chose a compelling subject, but your treatment with its subtle texture and wonderfully smudgy background works extremely well to create a graceful, unified shot. Link to comment
