Not really easy to get a good shot of this species but you have done well here.

Thank you Dale. I realize he's not the most brilliantly coloured of birds but it's nice to have variety.

That you would celebrate the cow bird with your art! Cameras do not judge...and that's good

 

This bird kills our native song birds by the score.. you've captured this male wonderfully,

 

though he brings a response in me, knowing they lay their eggs in the nests of others, only for the young to hatch a day early and push out the rightful youth... sad eh?

Well, I have read of birds such as these but I have to admit that I had not recognized him as I took his photo (my father would be disappointed with me). I am glad that you were able to look beyond your strong feelings against him. I suppose I should have had something other than a camera in my hands when I shot him? :) Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I look at this photo in new light....
