Guest Guest Posted June 12, 2008 Nice image, and the color is very natural. I might crop a bit off the bottom just to simplify it. I'd leave the couple of rocks on the right, just my .02 Looks like Montana? Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted June 13, 2008 Nice editing on this it is quite a lovely scene. The bright clouds by the mountain on the left give the impression of having a halo effect from the editing, but I suspect that the halo I am seeing is a real one created by the position of the sun and the white clouds. It is a nice image and I love the colors. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted June 13, 2008 That warm turquoise blue is a wonderful foil for the cool violet mountains in the back. I can see the point about the twigs and rocks in the front; however, I like to have a place to stand when I enter a photo, and if you cloned them out, I'd just get my feet wet. In other words, I like how you've kept them in for the sake of perspective and context. Link to comment

sallycd 0 Posted June 16, 2008 I like a composition like this. It's therapeutic and replenishes a tired spirit. I read your bio and salute you for being a survivor of "BREAST CANCER". I knew a lot of women and some friends being an oncology nurse.I am retired now. Thanks for sharing... Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted June 19, 2008 Ahmet, thank you so much for commenting. Zeph, thanks for your thoughts, very much appreciated. Good guess, this is not too far from Montana, just north, west, in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. Shawn, thank you. I did do a bit of dodge and burn work on the sky to bring those clouds out a bit. Maybe I overdid it. Glad to hear you like it. Jeff, thanks for commenting. The twigs and rocks are part of a path that kids use to go out to the rock, where they sit and sunbathe, fight, shove each other off, a premium spot on the beach. Henri, thank you. Tolo, thanks for your comments. Sally, you are so right about this place being therapeutic. Thank you. Sonia, thank you! You are very kind. Warm regards to all. Link to comment
