Thank you all very much! This was a lucky opportunity. My wife heard this fawn crying for it's mother and motioned to me to get my camera. The fawn was about 40 feet away and just stood there in the woods for several minutes. It went deeper into the woods and hid by a fallen hemlock. Mom found it later that night.
