The lighting is great on this gorgeous fawn and the green foliage is beautiful.

Nice DOF really makes the fawn stand-out. I like the really green leafs surounding the fawn. I'm a big fan of whitetails.

Thought it was time I caught a ride on the internet highway & see what you have been up to. Your Sqaw Lake series have some very nice images but my favourites are the fawn pictures.Like the second one the best although it makes me feel sad, maybe it is because the eyes are not visible, (at least not on my monitor) I look at it & think, "Good Luck young fellow, hope you are arouind for a few years. Thank you for visiting, Ross! I was very fortunate to be close enough to this fawn to get these shots. On my monitor the eyes are very distinct and visible, so I'm sorry you don't get the whole effect. The weather here is cooling down and the leaves are changing fast. I'm hoping we'll get some good days for nice autumn shots.
