Christal1664882414 0 Posted June 9, 2008 I don't ordinarily get my thrills by taking pictures of lizards, but this little guy was looking at me so inquisitively.....almost begging me to take his picture. I wonder if he realizes how grotesque-looking he really is! Thanks for viewing! Link to comment

bkris 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Cristal--What a pair our two lizards would make! (I wonder if they would find one-another grotesque as well...) --Brad Link to comment
richard_cox2 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Perhaps a bit oversharpened, but I love this photo. The lizard is interesting but his expression is priceless. Way to go! Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Thanks Brad and Richard. I was wondering if I had gone too far with the sharpening.....I think I'll re-do it just a tad based on your remark. I wanted the eyes to be sharp and the spiny protrusions to look as ugly as they really were. BTW, he really was this color....I didn't overdo that at least. :) Link to comment
ifti 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Attractive and interesting color and sharpness. Eyes are lifeless. Your other Lizard has better eye. Thanks for sharing. Regards ifti Link to comment

aramat57 3 Posted June 24, 2008 Over-sharpened, but cute! Beardies are actually pretty amicable. I have a Beardie "grandlizard" who looks a lot like this one, her name is Amber. Nice effort considering the harsh light, very good expression. Best regards, Tammy Link to comment

Mark Keefer 4,721 Posted September 11, 2008 How did you get him to smile for the picture. :) He looks a little like a Muppet. LOL Nice shot. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 3 Posted November 11, 2013 You say this cute little guy is grotesque; I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I find his smile and tilt of his head to be very charming! He is definitely interesting and seems to have a sunny disposition (sorry, couldn't help myself)! Thank you for sharing. :) P.S. Just where did you come across this little friendly guy?
