catherinevankempen 0 Posted June 8, 2008 I think the flag may have been overkill, the figure, his posture, his expression ... all these things combined with the title seem strong enough for me. But then again, I'm not a fan of being too literal. I really like the image of the vet though. Link to comment

Christal1664882414 0 Posted June 24, 2008 Thank you for this poignant photo. My dad is a WWII veteran and spent 18 months in Stalag 17 concentration camp. He is fiercely patriotic, and despite the fact that there are many things in this country I'm disillusioned with, I have grown to understand patriotism through my father's eyes.
