peter.blum 0 Posted June 6, 2008 Hi Miki, Fun at the club. The couple seem to have a good time - at the moment. Great expression on their faces and an interesting background. Being a snap and under difficult light conditions, it is understandable that it lacks some sharpness as well as the light being less than perfect. Wonder if there is room for improvement in post-processing? But an amusing and different image. All the best to you Peter Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 6, 2008 Delightful capture full of joy. Very well done. Congrats ! Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted June 7, 2008 Peter, I did work on it some in post proccesing for the wedding couple but for uploading here it doesn't work as well. I left it as is. Mostly for the sake of the sharpness. In the reduction (having to reduce it to the silly size on pn) It causes it to lose some of its life and I wanted it to keep its life and light. So, I have told myself I will quit redoing stuff just for PN. Plus this kind of gives it the motion of what they were doing anyway. This was almost in pure night light. Kind of hard to tell unless you were there. The glow on her was enough to light the room :) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 7, 2008 Micki, I like it even as is ( not very sharp), as the scene has life and vitality in it. the photo looks like taken in hard light condition, and still has good details. They looks like having good time together...;-)) Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted June 8, 2008 Such a natural image - love the expressions and the moment you captured without evidence of a flash. It's a little soft but that is OK with me. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted June 14, 2008 This could be lifted from the pages of an early 80's magazine. An add for some up and coming, swanky casino or maybe the beer. Regardless, I like the feel of it. I could clearly see an ad presented in the right corner. "Come to Omaha. Living Is Good." Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Micki, a very charming image with a spontaneous flavor. Gives the perfect impression that they're not aware of the camera. Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted June 17, 2008 Those are my first interpretations. Technically some where there, but this image isn`t at all about technicality. This is just for fun and feeling light hearted at least once in a while. And I absolutely like it a lot! About those jokes... Have you heard the story of the... Well, that would be a boring story... I`ll have to find a better one and e-mail it to you. ;-) With a grin, Finnish goblin whom like`s to photograph (and stay up at too late, as it is 2:26 AM in here... Blaah!) Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted June 18, 2008 :) Yes relaxed and having fun. That is what a wedding is partly about. Had I had the flash on they would not have let me take this picture like this. Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted July 25, 2008 Lovely photo, Micki... They will love to have a print of this image! Link to comment
