kerstinoberlechner 0 Posted June 6, 2008 i really like this shot. unique, timeless, elegant and different. the light is great, you work with muted colours and you understand to handle photoshop in the right way. the only thing that i do not like is the title. why is this the road to perdition? why not to gnosis, or to the unknown? (in a positive way *gg*). all the best, and congrats, yours kerstin Link to comment

oxymor0n 2 Posted June 9, 2008 thanks so much for your lovely words, I'm more than happy to hear you are pleased about this digitally altered shot, especially as I know you love the natural side of life (if you allow me to state it that way) :)concerning the title, I totally agree with you, perdition was not the best choice and only the first word that came to my mind since the homonymous movie title never left this mind ;) following your advice, and because I liked the sound of the word as well as it's meaning I chose to rename it to "road to gnosis", thanks for that hint. wish you only the best, yours, patrick Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Patrick, I like what you said in your statement about "one year finding your style". Like Kiersten says, your style shows here with choice of color and form. I am very attracted to your selections of natural color and unusual perspectives. But your title also made me sad because the photo contains no eternal darkness. It is a very well done photograph, interesting to look at. Passt in keine schublade! Link to comment
