gianpaolodettoma 0 Posted May 3, 2002 It's a nice shot. I also tried to do something similar with the hands of my three children but it was impossible because they are moving too much. The foot in left-top is a little too light compared to the others (also a little blurr, perhaps). Link to comment
heleen verdonk 0 Posted May 3, 2002 Nice tones, nice idea. Agree about the left foot in top, a bit too light. Overall nice picture. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted May 3, 2002 Might be a little blur. I took several pictures and dumped most of them because of the motion blur. The kids were very active. Lots of kicking. I liked this one best because of the interaction of the feet. Link to comment
c._k._nakagawa 0 Posted May 22, 2002 I like this picture. It's simple and nice, good use of shadowing. It's unusual, too, which makes it more fun to look at. There's something nostaligic about this, the way children play with their feet more, but adults don't.... Good photo. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted July 17, 2002 Hey Rick, I was following someone's comments and landed here. This is nice. Anyone with children can relate to it instantly. The little feet on the left seem to be clutching, or hugging those on the right. The lighting and background remind me of my own experiences with babies and I can picture this being photographed in my old house where that same kind of window light filled the room all day long. I wonder, though, if you tried and rejected any other color tones, light sepia, or something, or even just a complete desaturation because I'm seeing a lot of green in the shadows. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted July 18, 2002 Yes Doug, I would have to agree that it is just a little to green. I like some of your different variances that you offered up and appreciate that you took the time to experiment. I do the same from time to time with other peoples photographs that I enjoy, but feel could use a little work. Link to comment
c7huber 0 Posted August 16, 2002 I like the movement in this photo.... and the light to dark does not bother me.... Great shot.. Link to comment
