jennifercatron 9 Posted June 3, 2008 Interesting technique on processing. I like it very much. Reminds of storybooks for kids. 6/6 Link to comment

rascal64 9 Posted June 3, 2008 Jennifer...thank you so much for stopping and sharing. I know that you are pretty frugal with your kudos and ratings so I really appreciate it. I am not sure about the application or if I could even duplicate it if I wanted to. .Gracias Rueda. No estoy incluso seguro cmo la hice o si podrhacerla otra vez! Link to comment
jkilgo 0 Posted June 4, 2008 Interesting...is this the Dragan effect? Whatever it is, it gives the image a cool artsy feel. It sorta reminds me of some of those old time hand colored pictures from way back. cute kid...looks like someone else knows a dandelion hunter> Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted June 4, 2008 Thanks Jeff. Good question. There are elements here of that draganizing video that I sent you. I didn't get the look that I wanted so my frustration took me into "what happens if I do this? and this? and this?"....so I went somewhere (and because I flatten my layers and get a little nutty) and I may not be able to find my way back there. Even though it is overused on PN...I still really like the dragan based applications. I have seen a few versions that are extremely compelling. I am limited because I use Elements. And doing actions with Elements is very difficult (perhaps impossible for my head). So yes...dragan with a little cartooning and some of that ol' fashioned colorizing look kind of sums it up. And yes...this is my daughter. I call her my contract model....many pix of her in my "babes" folder. Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted June 7, 2008 Tiffany, I like the treatment! In fact, you just inspired me! I'm off to play in PS! I wish the background was not quite blown out! But otherwise, it's quite charming! Regards, Doug. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted June 9, 2008 Thanks Doug...I am glad to be part of keeping your process going. Yes...a bit blown out..you are right. I actually filled it in quite a bit from the first attempt. Link to comment
