Another little story of the Chelm life....

The story is about the charity box in the synagogue that money were stolen from it ,time and again, the wise men of Chelm decided to hang it high on the wall. what happened is that no money donations were found in the box.. so after a debate a ladder was placed under it.....

I think this series is worth its own presentation along with explanation for the story. Of course, this takes time, and I (of all people) know that time is limited. I love the lighting in this particular shot, purple with glowing orange. Perfect. The subject matter is compelling. An oddity that seems both strange and intriguing.

Very witty. I like how the face of the guy on the right is framed and his expression is priceless.

One ladder, like the shoe, appears to be sinking as if in the mud. The other ladder is secured by only a small rope. Both precarious. The lighting reminds me of the first moments of dawn. Expressions well captured.

I find this Chelm stories so interersting & comical. They are wonderours performers with such vivid expression & exaggerrating actions that befit the theatre act so well.

Very interesting and kind of creepy and you portray it well. The guy on the left appears to be cautiously but still climbing while the one on the right looks on in fear and skepticism. I like that you put in the guy on the left to show two personalities.

Interesting series,Pnina. Sometimes we need a break from stereotypes. You are precisely doing that with Chelm stories & images.

Pnina, this series is excellent both from the novelty and the composition point of view. The images grab our attention and keep it. So much to be seen and interpreted in them.

very expressive Pnina....I used to watch spectacle ads and I see how difficult it is to create an image that would represent a show and give some fancy to people to go and watch...I think in this respect creation and assembling is a powerful tool....this image and the ones in the folder give a nice idea of the visuals of the show and even better makes me want to see it...very successful indeed....
