fischerphotos 0 Posted June 2, 2008 This is a tarantula my cat found one day after a heavy rain. It was very close to dark so i held the branch up to the sky and turned on my Rebel Xti built-in flash and it gave me a black backround. Enjoy. Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 286 Posted June 4, 2008 But considering the size of the spider it is not nearly sharp enough as should be! And the light seems to be a flash light meaning the stopping down of the aperture couldn't be a problem. especially from the low distance! Good, anyway! PDE Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted June 5, 2008 I agree with Pierre - the background works well, but the spider needs to pop by being sharp as possible. I see you're a close neighbor - I'm in Corpus Christi. Link to comment
