mdineen 0 Posted June 2, 2008 i was comparing this to the lighter version and preferred this, and the only reason i could think of was that this one felt more secretive. more of a mystery. i love it. Link to comment

marlee_k 0 Posted June 2, 2008 I love the deep, rich color. The composition of the petals is very original. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted June 2, 2008 Mary, to be truthful, I liked the paler image better, because it reminded me of whipped cream, but I used this one to post because I think it is more dramatic, and would get more recognition. Roger, you are so good to me! I am very grateful for your kind words. Marlee and Pete, thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted June 15, 2008 This one is a bit of a paradox .The softness of the curves and the nature of the subject should be eliciting calm and softness yet the deep tones and the jagged points are speaking of drama and turmoil. Storm tossed waves upon the sea. An unusual and effective approach. BTW I like the lighter version equally well, they just speak of different hearts. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted September 18, 2008 very original and interesting. You might like to have a look at my folder called Georgia O Keeffe Garden . cheers Jana Link to comment
