Guest Guest Posted June 2, 2008 Ok picture, well exposed, but does not say anything. The centered eye is bad. Link to comment

ron e dobbs 0 Posted June 2, 2008 Thanks for the great shot. I enjoyed it very much and appreciate the beauty you saw in it. Do not let the rule police get you down. Break them all and express yourself as you please.. gotta love it !...Best to you...Ron Dobbs Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted June 2, 2008 Hi Colton! I really like this. I agree with Ron's comment above "Do not let the rule police get you down". I think Robert was a little harsh. I prefer asymmetrical arrangements myself, but sometimes a perfect symetrical balance is wonderful. I just tried cropping this differently, and also darkened it a bit just to see how it would look. What do you think? Warm regards. Link to comment
photo_dark 1 Posted June 2, 2008 I like it... there is a great deal of detail here, and the reflection of the sun is very interesting... Well done! I agree with the above poster, don't let the rule of thrids police annoy you too much. This photo probably could been a little better composed, but it doesn't detract from the interest too much. brendan_caden 0 Posted June 3, 2008 Nice idea and good light but it's worth knowing that a white or wall eye on a horse is considered a defect. It's not the part you would want to highlight. Link to comment
morlichs perspective 0 Posted June 5, 2008 Love the idea, but wierd looking eye. Remember to try and off-centre subjects like this, not always but most of the time. Like the colour Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 8, 2009 i think this is a lovely shot of a lovely "wall eye".. on a Paint horse, i presume? or an Appaloosa? maybe considered a 'defect', but i have always been drawn to the unique in animals and people, and am a fan of blue and wall eyes in horses imparticular. i really like the reflection in the eye. i agree with the others about adjusting the crop a bit, and maybe a touch more contrast and clarity. but it definately caught my eye enough to take click on it and take a better look :) Link to comment
