ricardovaste 0 Posted June 1, 2008 i have the lens you are using here, but in Sony mount. I've never used it though, as ive got a Minolta 1:1 macro. Anyway, this is an interesting photo. Sharpness and DOF are both good. A little underexposed? I dont know. The light is quite flat, maybe thats why the eyes are a little on the "black" side? Apart from that I would have prefered a lower view and its a shame yo have just cut off one of the feet. Keep up the good work, Rich Link to comment
tidris 0 Posted June 1, 2008 Thanks for your comments. Richard: the fly was in the shadow - that accounts for the flat lighting and it was slightly underexposed (not on purpose). As for the feet, I purposely cropped it out to bring out the other bits of the insect. I will do better next time. Regards Taha Link to comment
