raghuveermakala 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Exposed for 3min at dusk to bring out the swirl! Link to comment
vdhamer 0 Posted May 31, 2008 More than just another water-with-slow-shutter-speed image. But the top few millimeters are a bit irritating: would have liked to see a bit of the sky. Now the while line might be the sky, or may be cut off just before the sky. 6/5 Link to comment
stp 6 Posted June 1, 2008 Nice shot at a place that's hard to shoot. Regarding the horizon, I think you need to either show the sky or leave it out completely. This one is too much on the fence. Link to comment
raghuveermakala 0 Posted June 1, 2008 Thanks for the comments. Here's the uncropped version. The sky looks a featureless white. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7344086 I probably should have cropped the picture a few more mm in the first place. Here's that version: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7344169 Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 3, 2008 Great composition and wonderful how you've captured the movement of the water. A pitty that the waterfall is completely blown out. Also I think the contrast in the upper half of the image falls a bit short in comparison to the perfect lower half. Maybe the combination of two exposures might have solved these problems. stp 6 Posted June 5, 2008 Regarding the sky, I'd go with the cropped version; there is nothing of interest in the sky, so it only detracts. Link to comment
