victorwei 0 Posted June 2, 2008 Since you have posted in the Forum that you had not received any critique, well - here's your first... The composition of elements is very good. I detected a bit red chromatic fringing near the bottom of the closest trunk which can be fixed in post editing, and cropping out a bit at the bottom may bring more emphasis on the water and the tree trunks. Overall a very nice capture. Link to comment
iambaxter 0 Posted June 2, 2008 I agree with Victor the bottom of the frame is not very pleasing. It would have been better to have included more of the sky and less forground at the time you took the picture. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 2, 2008 What is he story behind this photo? Dead trees in water. Tis might look good as a monochrome. Even infrared to whiten the green trees. Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted June 2, 2008 I like this picture, Colton, and I agree it would benefit from some cropping at the bottom. The brown of the mud and the scruff is distracting. I'd bring it up to just short of the first tree trunk... just past where the mud ends. I think the lighting is good, you picked a good time of day, and your exposure and depth of field are fine. Keep shootin', Colton! Link to comment
morlichs perspective 0 Posted June 5, 2008 It would again benefit from a tighter crop at the bottom and a slight colour tweek in photoshop. Link to comment
