Why almost? Because of the lack of sharpness and it's due to the camera used. Much less serious camera would have done better in that regard! The bigger the sensor the smaller the depth of field! maybe an extreme stopping down of the aperture, which would probably require a tripod, would have done better! Otherwise the picture is great!

Elena, This is well done! I like the depth of field here, it allows the eye to roam and return to the center of the web! The colors diffused in the back ground are a great visual! I spoke to my friend, Spiderman, and he noted it was a fine web! Best Regards, Doug. (you know who)

Although Pierre is probably right regarding the sharpness, I think Doug's take matches my own experience of the web--venturing out into the hazy unknown and then returning to the center where life is in focus.
