Thank you! I worked on a compromise to try to show all the texture and detail of the petals and I just couldn't get the "blown out" area on top the way I would have prefered it to look.

Dick, nice to be back. I've been doing the yearly reviews of our staff the last few weeks so was short on time. You know how it is. Nice to see you've been at work with your new gear.

beautiful shot. if possible i would hold the camera on right hand , and take my bag, dark papper on left hand. or simply my body to shelter the flowers, and try to avoid the strong light while shooting if i can get colser to flower. regards.

Thank you! It was an overcast day, so I couldn't really shelter the flower and I was surprised that the upper part was blown out.
