elportebonheur 0 Posted June 2, 2008 Compliments, Dick. You have chosen the right moment in tulip's life... Has a fraction of too much light on top - at least on my monitor. However, this is a nice image. Regards, El Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted June 2, 2008 Thank you! I worked on a compromise to try to show all the texture and detail of the petals and I just couldn't get the "blown out" area on top the way I would have prefered it to look. Regards, Dick Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted June 2, 2008 but apart from that it's a very good one. Those pastel tints in the background are brilliant. Link to comment

tonmestrom 4 Posted June 2, 2008 Dick, nice to be back. I've been doing the yearly reviews of our staff the last few weeks so was short on time. You know how it is. Nice to see you've been at work with your new gear. Link to comment
chens 0 Posted June 3, 2008 beautiful shot. if possible i would hold the camera on right hand , and take my bag, dark papper on left hand. or simply my body to shelter the flowers, and try to avoid the strong light while shooting if i can get colser to flower. regards. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted June 3, 2008 Thank you! It was an overcast day, so I couldn't really shelter the flower and I was surprised that the upper part was blown out. Have a great day! Dick Link to comment
