Ken, I'm with you on your decision to let the action blur. The flag is crystal clear and it's implied connection to the aircraft is equally so. Your other shot of the Blue Angels, which is sharp throughout, is a nice shot but, as with all shots like this, looks like the aircraft were pasted on a blue paper backgound. One for the family album perhaps but not a candidate for a photo contest. The flag in this one, not unlike your whole country, looks like it's taken a couple on the chin lately but not to worry, things will recover. Best, LM.
