JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted June 1, 2008 I like the way the B&W works here. The model's lines work well with the lines of the sofa. The similarity in tone between the model and the sofa enhances this interaction and creates a more "formal" image than most of your work. This use of lines is in some ways reminiscent of Edward Weston. However, the model's hair causes significant contrast and continues to bring my eye back to it. The image might have more impact if you cropped out some of the floor and wall to empasize the way her lines contrast with the sofa. I particularly like her pose! Kudos to you both. John Peri 1,032 Posted June 1, 2008 Thnak you Jim, I would have liked just a little more detail in the hair, but I missed it with the flash. However, a slightly tighter crop as you suggest may better highlight the features as you suggest. Maby thanks. Link to comment
