wogears 186 Posted May 29, 2008 Nothing like that EVER washed up on the beach when I was there. Dead fish, tires... Excellent tone and pose, BTW. Link to comment
mario2 0 Posted May 29, 2008 This pose it's a classic in a beach nudes, the light, the perspective and the lower viewpoint create a excellent image ,In the other hand, the big lower area disturb me a little bit, perhaps a little crop in this area will be good...I show you my interpretation. What do you think?Best regards Link to comment
OutsideTheNorm 30 Posted May 29, 2008 Mario - Your version feels unbalanced to me, I think in two senses: The 2-3 aspect ratio of the original is fairly close to the golden ratio and feels more pleasing. The context offered by the extended foreground also happens to keep the image in rough thirds and feels more luxurious and less rushed. Thanks for the thought. Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted May 29, 2008 Norm, every now and then it all comes together! You got this one! It's fantastic!~ Excellent vision and creativity! Regards, Doug. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 30, 2008 This rocks! Very , very good! It's like a sad and beautiful poem, like a fallen, dead angel, maybe reborn to a human or something. Beautiful! Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted May 30, 2008 Very nicely done. The almost-desaturated colours seem to work but I wonder if true monochrome would be even better? Best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted May 31, 2008 It is very difficult to take a really aesthetic and original nude picture. They look all the same or "deja vu".This one is outstanding. Compliments for that! Link to comment

briankelley 0 Posted November 24, 2012 Norm, I agree with Mario. I find the forground distrackting and off ballance. Not sure I would crop as much as Mario did but cut a little off the bottom and clone more to the top would make a better crop for me. On the other hand I like the tone and the pose of the model verry much.Brian Link to comment
