Interesting lighting coming from the bulbous sphere which is his belly :-)

The effect with his hands disappearing inside his ' belly ' and then appearing as shadows is very strange and a bit unnerving.

What's not fair is not telling us the story of this one!!!

It's quite wonderful, with clues in the big ball of his belly, including a church steeple...hmmm...for an Eastern European Jew from Chelm, I wonder what this means.

The hands remind me of when people make shadow images of animals talking to one another... on the wall. Do you know that game?

Anyway, great lighting and capture of expression. You had to be having fun doing this because it looks like a labor of love

Joao, thanks for stopping by and your nice comment.

Gord, thanks, the idea in this play, is to take the scene to the most skued edge of humour. It is funny till tears.... ;-))

Jack,as I wrote before, it was a trial and error to find the right way for better results. Thanks a lot.

Donna, not each scene is according to a story, some of them are paraphrases.

This is one about the same story of Chelms seeing the moon reflected in a well and decide to keep it for darker nights. What you think is a cross is a corked bottle....It is also my own interpretation of the title following the scene's humour.

Thinh, thanks

Amal, I'm glad you enjoy it.Thanks as well.

Fascinating series Pnina. I love how you captured these silly characters with such charm and details. His belly must be quite aching. I wonder what the doctor would prescribe.

I'm quite fond of the surreal nature of this image. Those shadows are powerful and the contrast between the highlights and the man in background is most dramatic. A very high impact image in my book. Cheers my dear.

... fellow who had the teapot on his head for thinking, and the wonderful "What?" expression. Having seen the others, I'm guessing he was incredulously asking, "What?" when someone suggested he put the moon in his belly. This is another great expression... looks to me like, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing." I expect it was not easy to achieve a good white balance and facial tones, given the very off-white light in his belly. And it's equally impressive that you've captured his face with so much detail without the light of his belly being over exposed. A wonderful piece, Pnina.

All of you, for your feedback , It is much appreciated !

Jeff, I think you would have enjoyed it... very special interpretation, as choreography work, and I addmy interpretation as well

Dave, the whole play is sureal in its choreography. I'm glad you liked it.

David,It is not the same actor( of "what?" ) his name is Andras Mark.( the other is Japanese and his name is Takanuri Kavaharda) I have a very good angle in this small teatre, I work without a tripode, as they move on the stage and I have to work fast.

You got everything out of it that was there to be gotten. The way you did this makes this look somewhat as figurative art.
