Pierre Dumas 262 Posted May 28, 2008 Available light used and so sharp and no jaggies (noise). Good camera sensor it means to me! Of course the capture is very well done also! PDE Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 28, 2008 I think this series is one of the best I have seen from your theater work. The actors are so perfectly drawn, they are unforgetttable, just this side of being caricatures. The use of chiaroscuro is very effective in bringing out the character. A wonderful marriage of theater and photographer. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted May 29, 2008 Jack has beautifully summed up " wonderful marriage of theater and photographer" .We are all enjoying the visual treat. Pnina, you are raising your benchmark with each new image. You have the gift to capture scenes, which others might not be able to do so aesthetically. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted May 29, 2008 I am just amazed at your ability to captre such clarity in such poor lighting conditions. Your work is really growing by leaps and bounds. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 29, 2008 Amazingly unique capture. The lighting helps to emphasize the sense of confusion with some areas thrown into shadow and the light slowly dawning over his head. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 29, 2008 Richard, the sense of humour and funny skued characterization are the core of this play. Thanks Pierre, thanks for stopping by, yes the sensor is a good one in the 30D camera ;-)) Alberto, thanks as well for your feedback. Jack,I like that kind of theatre so much , it has a very nice variety of shows, I enjoy many of them, so the match is very nice. I can say the same of you and your matching subjects.... ;-)) Amal, thanks for your thoughts as well Emmanuel, I have found my way by intensive "trial and error"....Thanks Jeff,I'm really glad you enjoy it! The sense of humour is unique, Everything in this theatre is professionally done.I'm glad I can save with photography some hints of it. Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted May 29, 2008 Priceless expression. This work is amazing Pnina. The second sac that the angel carried must have been really heavy. Link to comment

dseltzer 0 Posted May 30, 2008 I, too, am awed by your ability to create the clarity and depth you do with minimal light. This is true for all your dance and theater shots. This one is beautifully captured, as usual, and I just love the expression that so very clearly convey's "What??" Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted May 30, 2008 Lovely warm tones. The light is another strong point of this image. Regards. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted June 2, 2008 of all three I like your first attachment best, mainly because of the background. Theater photography is difficult and demanding at best and you show us how to make the most of it. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 3, 2008 glad to meet you here again, and thanks for looking and comenting on ALL of them.It took me a trial and error till I have found my way in that kind of photography, the way to overcome the strong stage lights, and fast changing scenes and movements, also giving it my personal interpretations as well. thanks for understanding the difficulties, and feedback.
